I am just getting some artwork and hardware ready to start the website build. The URL is correct… I have been so busy with other work :(

I shall put something up in the next day or so :)

It would have been nice to have the same respect as other artists and to have kept this to comments on my work… Thanks guys…

Marrock’s comment is about your work, hon. He’s saying it looks a little bit like Hal, from 2001. Kyle’s comment is to me, but 50% of the comments are for you.

      :)

Yeah, no offense meant, by any means. I think it looks quite nice, really. But now that I’m posting here, I try to keep my input on other artists down to a minimum.

To clarify for the brittlely ego’d…

I liked this piece, put me in mind of HAL as some sort of steam-powered alchemical thinking engine.

Seriously, if you’re going to put art up for folks to comment on, you’ll need to grow a bit of a thicker skin…

      hey.. its ok…
I think this site maybe need a forum or something…
I do understand its very difficult to communicate other than as a comment to an approved request…

      I do have a thick skin…
I have a few works displayed at devianart… which anyone can comment on…Work only improves with honest comments… Anyone that creates art from nothing, spending many hours (mine took 6 hours) to create, enjoys the emotions, whether good or bad that surrounds a particular peice…

But again I say.. perhaps this site does need some form of easier interaction as I would love to get to know many of the people here :)

My first thought went to HAL as well.

This image looked like one of Dr. Chandra’s Patent Navigation Engines (complete control of your Airship with Babbage reliability)

I love the wallpaper but I don’t want to use a wallpaper with the designers name and website and that other writing on it, it’s basically an advertisement. If it weren’t for that it would be my favorite wallpaper on this site.

      Understandable…
But as with any artist, I signed it…
If it wasnt my own work, I suppose just upload it here as is…

It was never meant to be a public offering.
I was just making a logo that I wanted on some leather and not finding anything suitable, I went ahead and made my own leatherish canvas, as the intention of the whole project was to create a logo for Steampunk computer cases that I hope to start making soon.

But if enough people like it, as I have the original PSD, I could remove it and upload it…

Totally agree with Mira. The wallpaper is amazing but the authors name and website is WAY to distracting so will have to pass.

Cyber – is there a way to contact you? I love this image and would like to talk to you about possibly using it for a theatrical production that’s using a steampunk theme. Thanks!
