Title: Left Watch Description: gently used paper desk blotter. Someone’s left his watch there overnight. There was a request for a widescreen version, so I made one. Type: Widescreen, 1680×1050 (thanks to Cthulhu for pointing my labeling mistake out. ia ia!) Credits: Most of it hand made in photoshop. Watch from Leo Reynolds Flickr stream. Creative Commons licensed derivative. Some spatters from Gorguss’s Photoshop brushes. |

The image you get by clicking on the thumbnail is just another 350×219 thumbnail, not the 1600×1200 wallpaper… Try again?

Thankyou for the wonderful wallpaper. This is now gracing my 24″ monitor. Reminds me I really should get my fob watch out, give it a good wind & start wearing it again.

This is so beautiful – well, all your wallpapers are.
I hope you don’t mind, but I modified a version of this (pretty clumsily) with a calendar for use as my wallpaper while I’m writing a Steampunk book during this year’s National Novel-Writing Month. It’s here if you’re interested.

I love you wallpapers, and am interested in using Left Watch as a splash page for a client site of mine–is there any way to have an image without the stopwatch? (I love it with, but the watch is messing with my design.) Reciprocal linking provided.

Yes, we can probably do that. Technically, the work is creative commons, but not commercially available. i’ll email you more details.

It would be so awesome if that watch was functioning! Like if the wallpaper connected to the clock on the computer to have the watch show the actual time!
